| Bigger and better Butserfest music festival based on feedback from young people. Over 130 bands applied to enter this event, this was narrowed down to 15. the event went well with approx 500 young people attending as well as various agencies offereing information and advice to young people. Of particular note was the Chlamydia screening team who screened xxxx young people. The Butserfest event went ahead on 11th September. Despite quite inclement weather approx 2000 young people attended. 14 bands played on the main stage including 4 from the Butserquest event 9 bands played on the 2nd stage including 6 bands from Butserquest.The Chlamydia screening van attended with xxxxx young people were tested. Feedback from young people and parents has been very positive a survey was conducted and despite a poor response the results were very encouraging.Butserfest received a publicity boost due to the national magazine Karrang attending on the day and devoting a full page spread.
