CompactlogoWe believe that partnership working is important to us all in East Hampshire and it helps if we understand how each of our organisations operates.

We’ve agreed a common set of principles which are set out in a document called the Compact for East Hampshire; this has been ratified by East Hampshire Community Partnership and is found in our Documents section. The Compact is an agreement between the voluntary and community sector and other organisations to improve their relationships for mutual advantage.

It is an evolving agreement between organisations rather than individuals which helps to define how partner agencies will behave and includes Codes of Conduct to ensure good practice.

The work of the Compact Working Group can be summed up by the five Cs:

Communication -
promoting aims and achievements
Consultation -
seeking views and ideas
Cooperation -
working on issues together
Commitment -
delivering on our promises
Compact - bringing it all together
