Transport Task + Finish Group

Although there is currently no permanent transport sub-group, a task + finish group was set up in 2011 to identify a programme of local schemes to be delivered using developers contribution funding. The membership of the group includes: East Hampshire District Council, Hampshire County Council, voluntary sector and the East Hants Disability Forum.

The group agreed a set of criteria to assess schemes that are submitted by members of the public. Once assessed by the group, the list of proposed schemes will be presented to the EHDC Cabinet for final approval. The first round of schemes to be presented to Cabinet will take place in 2012.

Have you got an idea that will improve community access in your area?

  • Community Benefit
  • Improving transport accessibility
  • Improving access to facilities
  • Reducing the impact on the environment
  • Promoting health, wellbeing and/or safety
