The East Hampshire Community Partnership is a Local Strategic Partnership (LSP). An LSP is a single non-statutory, multi agency body which matches local authority boundaries and aims to bring together at a local level the different parts of the public, private, voluntary and community sectors.

Lack of joined up working at the local level has been one of the key reasons for lack of progress in delivering sustainable economic, social and physical regeneration or improved services that meet the needs of local people.

The East Hampshire Community Partnership acts as a link between all of the other partnerships and coordinates their efforts in alignment with the priorities outlined in the Community Strategy. At its heart is the Community Partnership Steering Group, which co-ordinates the work of the partners and ensures our outcomes are delivered.

East Hampshire Community Partnership – Funding Opportunity 2013/14

There is currently £8,000 funding available to support projects that help to meet the objectives of the East Hampshire Community Partnership.

Organisations may apply for up to £2,000 per project (if your project requires more than £2,000 then you will need to show where you intend to secure the additional funding from). If successful, the funding must be spent by 31st March 2014

The decision on which applications will receive funding will be made through a participative budgeting exercise. Applicants must be willing to attend a voting event where they will have three minutes to give a brief presentation about the project, and about how it would help meet EHCP’s objectives, and then an additional two minutes to answer any questions.

To apply, please contact lucy.soal@easthants.gov.uk to request an application form.
